Amber DesRoches, Bismarck, ND, was one of Dr. Stefanski's patients. Basin Electric has honored Amber's memory at all the cooperative’s St. Baldrick’s events. "One of the things I remember about Amber is she had a lot of complications. And she had this spirit that would never let go. And you would look at her and say, 'Wow,'" Stefanski said. "With adults, we're disasters! We'd be like, 'Life isn't fair. I can't believe this.' But Amber was just taking it one step at a time, just going through it. And it was amazing. It was amazing to be her doctor."
