Basin Electric had been nominated for the Secretary of Defense – Freedom Award, and was recognized for having reached the top 10 finalists in its category.

The North Dakota committee of the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR) honored Basin Electric during their Business Leader Awards Lunch Sept. 7.

Basin Electric had been nominated for the Secretary of Defense – Freedom Award, and was recognized for having reached the top 10 finalists in its category.

About 4,050 nominations were submitted nationwide.

Kimberly Miller, Basin Electric business analyst and current National Guard soldier, and Jill Thomas, Dakota Gasification Company warehouse supervisor and retired National Guard soldier, nominated Basin Electric for the award.
