Dakota Gasification's parent company contributed $1,500 for Christmas wreaths at the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery.

Wreathes across America


For the fourth year, Basin Electric Power Cooperative has contributed to the annual Wreaths Across America ceremony at the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery south of Mandan, ND. Dakota Gasification Company is a major subsidiary of Basin Electric.

About 3,700 wreaths were placed on gravesites Dec. 10. Basin Electric contributed $1,500, enough for 100 wreaths.

Wreaths Across America is a nonprofit organization founded to continue and expand the annual wreath laying ceremony at Arlington National Cemetery, begun in 1992.
