The remaining Sanford St. Baldrick’s Team, Amber’s Baldies, will have their heads shaved at the flagship event at the Missouri Valley Family YMCA, Bismarck, on March 15 at 1:30 p.m. Amber’s Baldies is named for Amber Des Roches, who lost her battle with leukemia in 2007 at the age of 15, and who was the inspiration and drive behind Amber’s Dream, the transformation of the Sanford Children’s Hospital.
Prior to becoming a part of Sanford Health, Medcenter One started its partnership with Basin Electric and the St. Baldrick’s Foundation in 2008 to bring awareness to two good causes: delivery of quality of care to young patients and pediatric cancer. Sanford is proud to build on this legacy by increasing its support of St. Baldrick’s.
