Dakota Gasification Company's liquid carbon dioxide is separated from carbon dioxide during a condensation process in the liquefaction plant. The liquid carbon dioxide is 99.9% pure, as compared to the pipeline carbon dioxide, which is 95% pure.
Dakota Gas is currently selling liquid carbon dioxide for uses in the beverage and food processing industry, and for water treatment plants.
